It is containing Paclobutrazol ( Canstar) is a systemic growth regulator discovered by ZENCA, U.K. Its principal mode of action is the inhibition of gibberellins biosynthesis.
The compound is taken through stem tissue or roots and is translocated to the site of action in sub-apical meristems.
Tree vigour is controlled by reducing the intemodes lengths of new shoots and earlier formation of terminal buds. Fruit bud production, fruit color and harvest yield can also be favourably influenced.
Recommendation
Note: If the soil is sandy, the rate of application may be reduced to 75% of the quantity recommended.
For repeat use in the treted orchards, the rate of its application in subsequent years can be 50-75% of the first years.
Irrigate lightly soon after application and subsequently irrigate once or twice a month.

Direction of use
Recommended for mature mangoes only ( at least 7 years old)
Recommended quality of Paclobutrazol to be diluted in clean water of (5-10 litres) and applied in furrow 5 cm to 10 cm deep, about 30 cms away from the trunk. Fill up with soil after application or apply as soil- collar drench.
Time of Application
Applied after the harvest of fruits. Any time from July to Oct will be ideal.
